300.     $100

“Seth Thomas Clock Co., Plymouth, Conn.”, miniature cottage clock with a flat top and OG base, ca 1865. This mahogany veneered case is 9 inches high, clean, polished, and complete. The gold on the door appears to be original, has the correct door latch, and we believe the glasses to be original. This dial has the original paint but now with some touchups inside the Roman numerals and corners, and the hands may be original. The 30-hour time and alarm movement is running, alarm sounds on an iron bell. It has a very good label, old pendulum bob and other pertinent parts. The movement in this case is a “V” style and it has wood block mounts. The movement and label were signed by ST at Plymouth, Conn. $150-$250.

301.      $50

“Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn.”, miniature cottage clock with a cornice top and slant base, ca 1870. The 9-inch rosewood case is very nice, has good glasses and old door latch. The dial paint is new, has ST hands, old pendulum bob and key. There are remnants of a label but it was painted over, I would assume to make it look better than showing a ragged label. The 30-hour time only movement is running, it is their “T” type. $75-$150.

302.     $100

“Seth Thomas Clock Co., Plymouth, Conn.”, miniature cottage clock with a flat top and OG base, ca 1865. The 9-inch rosewood veneered case is very nice, clean, polished, and original. Has good gold around the glasses, old door latch, and excellent label. The dial has been repainted, and it has ST hands. The time only 30-hour movement is running. It is their “D” type movement. Both the label and movement are signed ST at Plymouth, Conn. $150-$250.

303.     $50

“Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn.”, miniature cottage clock with a cornice top and slant base, ca 1865. The rosewood veneered case is 9 inches tall, has original glasses and door latch. Veneer is good all over. It has a repainted dial, old pendulum, iron bell, and good paper label. The 30-hour time and alarm movement is a marriage to this case. It is Seth Thomas’s “C” movement and is running. The alarm rings on the iron bell. It is possible the movement is original to the case but the wood mounting strips needed to be replaced leaving some holes. $75-$150.

305.     $100

“Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn.”, miniature cottage clock with a cornice top and slant base. The 30-hour movement is their “R” type with alarm. The movement is signed “Plymouth”, the complete label is signed, “Thomaston”. It is an excellent 9-inch-high walnut case, probably has replaced glassed, original door latch, repainted dial, and old pendulum. The movement is running and the alarm rings on an iron bell. $150-$250.

304.     $100

“Seth Thomas Clock Co., Plymouth Hollow, Conn.”, miniature cottage clock with a flat top and OG base, ca 1865. The gold around the glasses looks to be original but is too nice. Surely was regilted. The glasses are likewise, just to nice not to be replaced. Dial was repainted, excellent label, old pendulum and ST hands. The label and movement are signed by ST, Plymouth, Conn. The 30-hour time only movement is their “R” type and it is running. $150-$250.
