“E. N. Welch Clock Co.”, miniature steeple clock with a signed time and strike 30-hour movement. It is running and striking a coil gong. The dial was repainted, has old pendulum and key, probably replaced glasses, and good door latch. The 14 ½ inch rosewood veneered case is beautiful and near perfect. There is no label in the case but it is a Welch case. $75-$150.

“Jerome & Co., New Haven, Conn.”, miniature steeple clock with one-day time and strike movement, ca 1875. The mahogany veneered case stands 15 ½ inches high, has two old glasses and door latch on the door. There is one small veneer chip on the front top. The painted metal dial has had a touchup on the lower left corner, hardly noticeable with the door closed. There is a complete label on the back of the glass and another complete label inside the case. The movement is running and striking the hours on an iron bell. $75-$150.

“New Haven Clock Co., New Haven, Conn.”, miniature steeple clock, ca 1880. The mahogany veneered case is 14 ½ inches high, old glasses and a door latch. Inside is an old painted dial, replaced hands, old pendulum, complete label and large iron bell. The one-day movement is running and it strikes hours on the bell. It also has an alarm movement and it rings on the bell. I have rubbed and felt of the veneer on the bottom right corner and I cannot say it is a repair. I believe it is original. $75-$150.

“New Haven Clock Co., New Haven, Conn.”, miniature steeple clock with a 30-hour time only movement, ca 1875. The movement is running, it has an old pendulum and key, original painted dial is very nice, with a few chips on the bottom edge that you don’t see. The hands are period, it has a good door latch, and probably replaced glasses. The 15-inch-high mahogany veneered case is near perfect. $75-$150.

“Jerome & Co., New Haven, Conn.”, miniature steeple clock, ca 1870.The mahogany veneered case is 15 inches tall, tablet probably a replacement, and it has the original door latch. Inside is a clean near perfect label, old pendulum, replaced hands and a repainted dial. The 30-hour time only movement is running. $75-$150.

“Waterbury Clock Co., Waterbury, Conn.”, miniature steeple clock, ca 1870. The 15-inch-high rosewood veneered case is as slick and nice as you will find. Both glasses may be replacements, has original door latch, and an old pendulum and iron bell inside. There is a complete label, old painted dial and replaced hands. The 30-hour movement is running and striking hours on the bell. $75-$150.

“Jerome & Co., New Haven, Conn.”, miniature steeple clock, ca 1865. The mahogany veneered case is 14 ½ inches tall, has a brass door latch, replaced glass, original painted metal dial and hands, iron bell and old pendulum. The 30-hour movement is time and alarm. The alarm sounds on the iron bell. The veneer is good but does have a couple of scratches on the sides, covered with stain but still visible on inspection. $75-$150.

“Ansonia Brass & Copper Co., Ansonia, Conn.”, miniature steeple clock, ca 1869. Mahogany veneered case is 15 inches tall, is very nice all over but has one veneer repair on the base, back right corner. It has old glasses, old door latch, repainted dial, replaced hands, old pendulum, excellent label, and an iron bell. The movement is 30-hour, time and strike, and a separate alarm movement that also rings on the bell. The movement is running and striking properly. $100-$200.

“Ansonia Brass & Copper Company, Ansonia, Conn.”, mantel clock they named, “Gilt Column”, ca 1874. The rosewood veneered case is 18 ¼ inches tall and the wood is clean and polished and presents itself well. There are a few veneer chips/repairs on the very bottom of the case. The gold columns and gold around the mirror is excellent considering it is about 140 years old. Complete paper label inside, old pendulum, wire gong, original painted metal dial, and replaced hands. The 8-day movement is running and strikes hours on the coil gong. Ly-Ansonia #1758. $150-$300.

“E. Pluribus Unum”, miniature steeple clock. Nothing signed, label says, “E. Pluribus Unum”. Normally you associate that slogan with US coins or something US. It can also be associated with England or Germany. The consignor thinks it is, “Junghans”. I checked everywhere I could think of and decided it could mean about any country. The mahogany veneered case is 15 inches high, replaced glass, complete label (?) original dial and pendulum and an unsigned 30-hour, time only movement. $50-$100.

“Ansonia Brass And Copper Co., Ansonia, Conn.”, miniature steeple clock, ca 1870. The rosewood veneered case is 15 ¾ inches tall, original door latch, original glasses, repainted metal dial, replaced hands, excellent label, old pendulum, and a 30-hour one-day time only movement. The case veneer is excellent but has some small bubbling on the base. $75-$150.

“Jerome & Co., New Haven, Conn.”, empire style mantel clock, ca 1850. The rosewood veneered case is near mint perfect, original, no repairs, clean, polished like a piece of fine furniture which was how the clock has been exhibited for the past 60 or so years. It has two fine original glasses, two excellent labels, original painted metal dial now slightly faded, and a coil gong. The 8-day movement is running and striking the coil gong on the hours. They don’t come any nicer than this one. $150-$300.
