HORTON'S ANTIQUE CLOCKS JULY 2019
372. $100
Iron front case, with common castings all around and mother-of-pearl
and other objects inserted in the center. Original paint is predominately dark colors and a little red. The cast case is 20 inches
high, appears to be, definitely never cleaned, and the case back is not held well to the iron front. Philips screws were used
everywhere. There is no label or pendulum and the 30-hour movement is running and striking. Glasses, bezel, dial, and hands have been
replaced. I did not disassemble the wood box from the iron front to search for a name cast in the metal. No name visible from the
front. The only marking anywhere was on the bezel, “Patent Pending”.
