German closed well swinger, ca. 1920’s.  A 31-inch walnut case in a sharp art-deco style with a silvered metal dial in good condition and an oversized pendulum bob.  The door opens to set and wind, the lower door slides down to access the pendulum.  The glasses are old.  The 8-day brass movement is running and striking a wire gong on the hours and half-hours. Finials and top may be modified/replacements, but it looks good, and is a nice size.  $175-$250.
